Complements and Complaints

Leeds Directory is open to feedback both about how we do as a service and about the services that we list.

You can provide feedback or make a complaint about a provider by;

  • Submitting a star rating and review
  • submitting an online form via our contact form
  • by email us at leedsdirectory@leeds.gov.uk
  • calling helpline on 0113 378 4610 weekdays 9am to 5pm
  • writing to us at Leeds Directory Team, Leeds City Council, 5th Floor East, Merrion House, 110 Merrion Centre, Leeds, LS2 8BB

We record and look into all complaints.
We check them using the Leeds Directory Code of Good Practice.

What we do next depends on:

  • What the complaint is about
  • If the service has had complaints before

We will work with you to try and sort things out.

If needed, we can also help you take your complaint further.
This might mean passing it on to another service which can help or removing a provider from our website.

Here are some useful places that you can also share your experience.

You can let us know how we did either by

  • submitting an online form via our contact form
  • by email us at leedsdirectory@leeds.gov.uk
  • calling helpline on 0113 378 4610 weekdays 9am to 5pm
  • writing to us at Service Delivery Manager, Leeds Directory Team, Leeds City Council, 5th Floor East, Merrion House, 110 Merrion Centre, Leeds, LS2 8BB

If you feel we haven’t listened to your feedback, you can make a complaint.

You can do this through Leeds City Council’s complaints process or by calling 0113 222 4405.
