Accessibility Statement

Using this website

This website is run by the Leeds City Council Adult Social Care service. The site is intended to be accessed by anyone who needs help to continue living independently for longer.

As a consequence the site allows you to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and size of the text
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand by writing in Plain English.

How accessible is it?

We know some parts of this website aren’t fully accessible:

  • you can’t modify the line height or spacing of text

What to do if you can’t access the bit you want?

If you think a different format like accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio recording or braille might be useful to you, please email us at:

info@leedsdirectory.org

We’ll usually get back to you within 7 days to let you know what we can do.
