Homeless or at risk

If you’re homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, you can get advice and support from Leeds Housing Options.

You might be at risk of becoming homeless because you:

  • are unable to pay your rent or mortgage
  • have been asked to leave by friends or family
  • are at risk of eviction from a rental property
  • are leaving hospital, care or prison
  • fleeing domestic violence

You may also want to seek advice from the following organisations;

Shelter

Leeds City Council have a range of services which provide temporary housing and support for people with mental health needs. These services include:

  • Mental health homeless team (MHHT)
  • Mental health IMPACT team
  • Mental health accommodation services
