Public and community transport

Public Transport

Leeds has a big network of buses and trains which usually run from around 5am – 11pm, depending on the route. These can be used to get around the city centre or out into other parts of the city.

There are a range of bus passes which offer travel subsidies for seniors and people with disabilities, and schemes to support passengers who may need a little extra time to find a seat.

Travel by taxi may also be an option. Many taxi companies offer accessible vehicles with some including ramps and passenger lifts to accommodate wheelchair users.
