There is a range of equipment available to help you feel safe and independent at home. If parts of your current home are no longer suitable for you, there are many options available to help you stay independent and in control.

Equipment can be privately purchased from a wide range of retailers both online and on the high street.  If you feel that you need further information or advice, please contact William Merritt Centre for impartial and professional advice and assessment, or call Adult Social Care on 0113 222 4401 to make a referral for assessment with the Leeds Equipment Service.

Key safe

A key safe or key lock box is a secure storage device used to store keys and is an easy way to control access to a key. Key safes are usually secured to an external wall of your property and can be used to store a key inside safely and securely. The key safe is accessed using a combination lock that requires users to enter a code or PIN number to unlock the box which you can then share with any approved visitors coming to your home.
