Mental Health

One in four adults experience at least one mental health concern in any one year. Mental health concern can lead experiencing things such as low mood and depression, anger, and anxiety. The are three front door mental health services in Leeds which include:

Leeds Mind supports the people of Leeds to discover their own resources to ‘recover’ from periods of poor mental health, and to live life independently with their mental health condition. They offer many services, including counselling, peer support, social prescribing, employment support, suicide bereavement support, creative wellbeing activities, mental health training and more.

Linking Leeds is an integrated, free city-wide Social Prescribing service for people in Leeds. Social Prescribing is a way of linking individuals with a range of local community services to improve social, emotional, and mental wellbeing. Linking Leeds provides Social Prescribing for all people aged 16 years and above, no matter where they live in the city.
