Grab Rails

A grab rail provides a sturdy hand hold to help you move around your bathroom in a number of different scenarios, such as getting in and out of the bath and shower or on and off the toilet.

Home Plus (Leeds) is a service for anyone who could be at serious risk of falling who needs help with repairs that may cause hazards in their home, or need information and advice to maintain their independence. Home Plus (Leeds) can help by fitting a range of grab rails, including external grab rails.

Things to consider

It is important that rails are places at the correct height or they may contribute to a fall.

If you are assessed for grab rails by Leeds Community Equipment Service or Home Plus (Leeds) your rails will be fitted with safety in mind
