What is the Leeds Accredited Waste Carrier Scheme?

LAWCS helps Leeds residents find someone local, legal, and responsible to take away their waste.

If you need to get rid of some waste from your home or garden, then this list will help you find responsible waste carriers. All the members on this list have been accredited by Leeds City Council.

provide waste transfer notes and receipts to you
strive to recycle and reuse as much of your waste as possible

All members sign up to a code of standards to provide you with reassurance that these are waste carriers that you can trust.

If the waste carrier also has a green tick against them, you can expect them to:

Be a legitimate business
Have had criminal record checks
