St Gemma's Hospice in Leeds provides specialist medical and nursing care for people with life threatening illnesses, predominantly cancer, along with support for their families.
St Gemma’s Hospice offers outpatient group activities, both face to face and virtually for people living with a terminal or palliative condition who are in their last 18-12 months of life. Groups include activities to encourage patients and their carers to live well with their diagnosis. These include exercise groups, wellbeing activities such as relaxation, mindfulness and Tai Chi, Men’s Shed, gardening, arts and crafts plus opportunities to connect with other patients and carers for peer support, information and signposting to support services. St Gemma's Hospce also have a number charity shops across the city which accept donations of both small brica-brac, book, and home furnishings as well as furniture and electricals (except large white goods) in working order. Please visit your local shop or arrange a collection.
