The leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. We provide a number of support services to anyone affected by a diagnosis, including free counselling, bereavement information and support, contact with a benefits and money advice specialist and a range of online support groups.
We have dedicated support teams for Adults affected by theirs or a loved ones diagnosis, for Children and Families and also for Young Adults with a diagnosis.
Locally, we offer an in person support group for everyone affected by a brain tumour run by Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity (YBTC). The group welcomes people living with a brain tumour, their carers and family members.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month in the Maggie’s Centre at St James’s University Hospital. The meeting starts at 1pm until approximately 2.30pm
